An Algorithm for Determining the Thermal Parameters of Digital Integrated Circuits for Transient Thermal Characteristics
A brief analysis of linear thermal models of semiconductor devices (SD) and algorithms for determining the parameters of the thermal equivalent circuit for transient thermal characteristics (TTC) have been described. The complexity of the implementation of the algorithm for determining the thermal parameters of the SD using the method of structural functions according to the JESD5114 standard has been mentioned. The original method of measurement of the digital integrated circuits (DIC) TTC using the frequency variation measurement of the DIC ring generator is described. The possibility of implementing of the method using the improved measurement system for the analysis of the DIC thermal parameters is shown. The simple algorithm of calculation of the SD thermal parameters using the zero points of the TTC second derivative is offered. This algorithm for calculating the DIC thermal parameters was tested with the use of CD4011 TTC, which was measured with an improved measurement system. The possibility of the algorithm automation is discussed. Automated Rating Control System
А system consisting of a set of typical subsystems is considered. Each subsystem has a rating score which influences on subsystem support. The control technique includes the following steps: 1. Selection of a set of characteristics of subsystems (as well as their distribution by groups). 2. Determination of the influence of each characteristic on the increase of the competitiveness of subsystems. 3. Setting the significance of each group for a current period. The control cycle consists of the following three steps: 1. Setting the initial method for calculating subsystems ratings. 2. Ratings calculation for the current period 3. Correction of the parameters of subsystems ratings calculations for the next period. System control automation can be implemented in two directions: 1. Data collection and calculation of the subsystems ratings. 2. Support of the decision concerning the control of the global system. Decision support system are considered and described in terms of automation control. It uses database of subsystems and consists of two levels. The lower level of decision support system is used for rating computing according to the proposed technique. The upper level consists of two modules: the module of analytics and the module of decision support. Theoretical estimations of the control system are calculated; they include estimations of the subsystem cases with equal and unequal effectiveness of coefficients and asymptotical estimation of a leader subsystem. Moreover, the authors provide a routine calculation of coefficients effectiveness for the university departments. Improving Quality of Time Parameters of Vernierpulse Timedigital Converters
Vernier pulse timedigital converters (TDC) are used for the conversion of time intervals into the code subnanosecond resolution in many areas of science and technology. Disadvantages include low speed and large dead time of conversion, which are defined directly by the vernier pulse method behind the basis of their work and the need of the total digital conversion result calculation. Therefore, improving the performance and reducing the dead time of vernier pulse TDC while maintaining their resolution that can significantly extend the possibility of using TDC data in the problems of time intervals transformation become urgent tasks. The article deals with a method for improving twice the time parameters (decrease in conversion time and, accordingly, the conversion dead time) of vernierpulse TDC by increasing the period following the pulsecounting sequence of the discrete transformation. Replacing the process of calculating the overall digital result of the conversion in the arithmetic logic unit (ALU) to the logical operation of summation result of the digital conversion with twice the value of the digital result just provides a further reduction of the additional value of the dead time conversion. However, the exclusion of the ALU from the conversion process reduces the additional hardware expenses of vernierpulse TDC and simplifies the process of determining the conversion result. The possibility of determining the overall digital result of the conversion in the same way and in the vernierpulse TDC executed without increasing the period of starting pulsecounting sequence at the discrete transformation is shown. The method suggested is recommended for halving the time of transformation and reducing the dead time vernierpulse TDC double interpolation more than twice, for example, in the universal time slot counter NR5370L manufactured by Hewlett Packard. Conceptual Algorithmic Programming and Modeling in the Design and Manufacture of Aircrafts Piping Systems
One of the important criteria of a competitiveness of an aviation industry is the cycle time of a production preparation and manufacturing. This criterion is integrally evaluated under conditions of a multiproduct manufacturing when parts and assemblies of various functional purposes may have complex shapes and high demands on quality. A significant contribution to the integral evaluation makes the preparation of production and manufacturing the pipeline systems of the aircraft. The article analyzes the life cycle of the aircraft piping systems at the stage of the technological preparation of production and manufacturing, revealed its shortcomings and features. Among the shortcomings, the authors highlight the long duration and high cost of correcting the errors committed engineering services at the stage of the technological preparation of production (TPP). In order to eliminate these shortcomings, the authors suggest the use of conceptual and algorithmic programming and modeling the activities of engineers to reduce the number of errors that occur due to the human factor at the stage of the TTP, as well as for accumulating and utilizing the experience, the use of which prevents errors. The authors have developed the way of working based on using a system of accumulating the experience at the stage of creating the technological process (TP) and the technical statement (TS) for the technological equipment (TE). The presented study also describes an example of the developing the TS for the design of the TE and an example of the formation of the TS for the development of numerical control programs with the use of the toolkit WIQA. Gravitational Stabilization and Reorientation of a Dumbbell Satellite in a Circular Orbit Due to the Swing Principle
A dumbsell satellite plane motion along the circular orbit is considered in the article. The motion is modeled by a weight rod with two masses fixed on the rod’s ends. A third mass can move along the rod. The control is realized by the law of moving seismic mass along the rod. The new bounded control laws solving the tasks of gravitational stability in relation to the satellite balancing state radial location flat rebellions and the tasks of dyametrical reorientation on orbit are obtained due to the swing principle. The problem is solved on the basis of the second method of the classical instability theory; the corresponding Lyapunov functions are plotted. The theoretical results are illustrated by the graphical representation of the system motion numerical simulation. Optimal Scheduling of Local Battery Storage
Nowadays energetics is characterized by consistent trend of the development of distributed power generation systems (microgrids) and alternative energy sources implementation as its components. In these systems using local electric batteries became actual and possible for automatic energy consumption management. These devices significantly increase the reliability and electronic characteristics of electricity supply through optimal choice of energy sources using rapid connection of the power sources to the power consumers. The authors analyze the algorithm for optimal control of the power system consisting of two energy sources one of them is battery storage and another one is external centralized grid where timevarying electricity pricing is released. The problem of finding the algorithm for optimal control generation as a task of the creating working timetable of electric storage, which has to minimize expenses for power supply is considered. Within a given time interval, a microprocessor controls a power storage battery releasing process. Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) is selected as a numerical method for solving this problem. Based on experiment numerical results that were performed, conclusions about effectiveness of developed battery schedule optimization algorithm are given; also recommendations were given for further improvements of microprocessor programming. Hierarchical Interaction Between the Two Coalitions in View of the Uncertain Factor on the Top Level
Complex systems usually have multilevel hierarchical structures characterized by the disparity of participants in the control process and exposed to different perturbations and other uncertain factors. In order to solve the problem of describing the operation of complex dynamic systems and decisionmaking under uncertainty, the methods of operations research including the game theory ones are used. A model of hierarchical interaction between two coalitions with program strategies under uncertainty with varying degrees of awareness is constructed in the paper. It is assumed that the low level players of the hierarchy know the implemented value of uncertainties, and this information is not available on the top level. The solution using the guaranteed result principle is defined. The original maximin problem to the related set is transformed to the problem on maximum of functional with penalty. The existence theorem for solution is proved, an estimate of the error and necessary conditions of optimality are obtained. Hierarchical game, coalition, uncertainty, penalty function technique.

Reliability of Integrated Modular Avionics Reconfigurable Complexes
This paper briefly outlines the problems of calculations reliability for multiprocessor systems. The authors show disadvantages of the statistical calculations method for reconfigurable onboard equipment complexes. The preliminary system safety assessment procedure for the system developed is described. The helicopter onboard equipment complex, which is capable to function in cruise flight mode and in modes of landing and takeoff, was considered as an example. Respective hardware and functional graph was built. The graph takes into account functions criticality, data streams between them, and specific hardware features. Operating modes of the complex are also described. Evaluation of developed reconfiguration algorithms effectiveness was implemented with the use of Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) for the traditional federative architecture with double reservation and for the integrated modular avionics architecture that consists of a crate with the reserved commutation module. Respective fault trees were built and the numerical results of reliability evaluation were presented. In order to improve algorithms for performing better reliability, some recommendations are given. The authors also show the impossibility of implementing the reconfigurable architecture on the basis of the existing complexes with the dynamically reconstructive architecture. The architecture doesn't meet the requirements of complexes reliability and doesn’t comply with modern standards for airborne equipment development. The Method of Validating the Structural Parametric Conformity of the Experimental Area to the Functional Communication System
The article considers decision making issues aimed at modernizing functional communication systems on the basis of advanced technologies. Conclusion can be drawn on the basis of the analysis. The attention is drawn to the conclusion consisting the fact that the most promising direction in this sphere is using experimental areas for validating system engineering solution in case of constructing and modernizing communication systems. However, experimental areas should have a similarity measure to the original (a functional communication network). Using a graph model of a communication system and the method of graph sparsification allowing to obtain samples(less dimensionality graphs) that are isomorphic with respect to the initial graph would be appropriate. The article reviews the algorithm of forming a graph model of an experimental area with the use of sparsification. It is shown that in the result of the initial graph sparsification, a sharpen sequence of samples (subgraphs) demonstrating the structure of a functional communication system on the corresponding stage of the modernization (also in the experimental area) was obtained. The authors consider the structure of the sequence samples for the specified number of modernization stages of the functional communication system got through the initial graph sparsification. The statement of the problem of forming the experimental area in the basis of structural parametric construction of the functional communication system is given. The analytical apparatus and the algorithm are demonstrated. The solutions of the application field extension for structuring the communication system for its sequent modernizing stage. The analytical correspondence between the target function and conditions of the task solution is demonstrated. As the result, the method of sequent transformation of the functional system structure into the experimental area with providing its structural parametric similarity to the original in the form of a set of corresponding procedures is presented. The original refers to the isomorphic communication system, which elements, functions, properties, and relations that are of importance to the system can be put into onetoone correspondence. Building Maneuvering Targets Trajectories on the Basis of Splines and Kalman Filters
The algorithms of tracking radar targets on the basis of Kalman filtering and smoothing splines allowing to estimate target motion parameters in the absence of accurate information about the dynamic model are considered. The comparative analysis of algorithms effectiveness for different types of trajectories was carried out. It’s well established that in case of intensive maneuvering and quite accurate initial measurements, the algorithms on the basis of splines (approximation of the curve with the use of spline functions) are subjects to a little uncertainty, simple to software implementation, moreover, they do not require a lot of computational resources. Simultaneously, preference should be given to Kalman methods (recursive functions estimating the state of the dynamic system) for smoothly varying trajectories with known statistical parameters. Under conditions of uncertainty relative to dynamic parameters of the target, manymodel multiversion procedures for trajectory construction are proposed. Experimental results were obtained on the basis of the radar situation simulation. The results allow to confirm working ability and the efficiency of algorithms and software developed. Building and Researching Dynamic Models of Information Processes in Complex Systems
The author researches the following schemes of processing information in complex systems: a sequent one with a different number of objects, a two or threelevel hierarchical scheme used in transferring information resources from the lowest levels to the highest ones, and a two or threelevel hierarchical scheme used in transferring information resources from the highest levels to the lowest ones. For all the schemes considered, the mathematical models in the form of linear differential equations with constant coefficients were built under simple but realistic assumptions as follows: the size of information resources does not change in case of processing; the speed of processing information on objects has a linear dependence on the size of information resources; the range of equation constant coefficients chosen allows to get the analytical solution. The author obtains analytical solutions of the system of differential equations showing the relationship between the size of information resources and the time on every object of the information processing schemes considered. The fundamental possibility of analytical solutions for any number of objects in a sequent scheme and any number of levels in a hierarchical system was shown.
