The present work evaluates the advantages of the OpenCL as a cross-platform language for the calculation problems programming. The code optimization methods with help of the CpU intrinsic vector instruction set (SSe2 / SSe3 / AVX, AltiVec, NEON) are also compared to each other along with the effect of various compilers. Similarly, the aim is the comparison of the binary code performance produced by various compilers by means of different optimization methods.
