Decision-making based on the receptor-ligand interaction methods65_1.pdf

The article deals with the mathematical models of decision-making in the management organization systems. The models are based on the receptor-ligand interaction methods studied in the biokinetics. The article describes an interaction between initial data coming to the organization system and knowledge database generated on the basis of operation experience. The combination of matching pairs creates decisions for resolving problems and achieving the goals. The interaction may take one or more stages. For one stage the models were developed in the form of differential equations when the starting amount of data is not equal to the one in knowledge database. When the amounts are equal, the model is represented as Riccati equation in a special form solving by an indefinite coefficient. The article considers cases when information recourses of initial data and the ones of knowledge database are not uniquely defined. The similar models are developed for two stages of interaction. The article gives the examples of calculation of information recourses amount for a decision in case of different ratios of initial data/ knowledge database.

Automation of wheel-mounted boom lifting equipment65_2.pdf

The article discusses the on-board information system that will ensure a safe and steady operation of a wheel-mounted boom lifting equipment. The proposed configuration of information panel clearly demonstrates all changes in the angle of boom-lift body orientation while performing necessary production operations and can prevent pre-emergency situations in time. The processing of logged performance values is a very complex and labor-intensive process. Therefore, authors propose to consider the possibility of using the software to reduce time required for performance analysis. The article deals with an algorithm presented here in the form of a block diagram for serial data acquisition, which allows processing logic chain data transferred from the measurement components. The presented mathematical expressions allow authors to calculate the time intervals required for data acquisition and the duration of experimental data recording for further analysis. The proposed combination of the measurement components of on-board information system includes tilt angle meters, force meters, an information panel, and a voltage maintenance unit. All that measurement components of the on-board information system are space saver and can be easily placed on the body of the boom lifting equipment. The figures and tables presented in the article indicate efforts at the creation and commissioning of the on-board information system for boom lifting equipment. As a result, it should be noted that the proposed on-board information system ensures the reliability of a wheel-mounted boom lifting equipment and it is also reasonable to use it for almost all wheel-mounted boom lifting machines as well as for hoisting equipment.

Modernization of the control system of the diesel fuel mixing unit65_3.pdf

Based on the analysis of the existing distributed control system of the diesel fuel mixing unit, the imperfection of the control loops of the kerosene fraction, the depressant-dispersant, cetane-increasing and antiwear additives were revealed due to the fact that they do not take into account the quality indicators of commercial diesel fuel if there are in-line analyzers of its characteristics in the automated system. It leads to the need for the operator to participate in the control of the flow rate of these flows. In this regard, the unit was simulated on the basis of experimental and statistical methods, based on the results of which a virtual analyzer of the lubricity of commercial diesel fuel was developed. Proposals have been formulated for the modernization of control loops with the consumption of depressant-dispersant and cetane-increasing additives, kerosene fraction, adjusted for the qualitative characteristics of commercial diesel fuel, as well as the consumption of antiwear additives, corrected according to the results of the readings of the developed virtual analyzer of the lubricity of fuel. Programs for the implementation of modernized control loops in the language of functional blocks of the Centum VP controller have been developed.

Mathematical modeling and numerical study of atmospheric boundary layer near windfarms65_4.pdf

The article analyzes Russian and foreign sources relating to the interaction of wind turbines with the surface layers of the atmosphere. It specifies the main problems of mathematical modeling of the atmospheric boundary layer near the wind farms due to adverse meteorological conditions, in particular, constant zero crossings in the autumn-winter period, various precipitation, a wide time range, air parameters, terrain and other features. The authors analyze the evolution of mathematical models of turbulence to describe the boundary layer near wind turbines from earlier to rapidly developing and currently used. To achieve greater accuracy and naturalism, it is proposed to use high-performance efficient algorithms based on combining scales and physics of phenomena. The authors propose a mathematical model for studying the state of the atmospheric polydisperse boundary layer under conditions of the Ulyanovsk wind farm, taking into account the dispersed particles in the flow, surface curvature, pressure gradient and other influences.

Optimization of parameters of generalized dispersion algorithm at statistical process control65_5.pdf

When monitoring a real production process using statistical methods, the question of early detection of violations arises. In most cases, several indicators are monitored simultaneously in the production process, and a change in the values of some indicators leads to a change in others. If there is a dependence of indicators for their monitoring, multivariate statistical control tools are used, in particular generalized variance chart. By varying the parameters of the chart, its efficiency can be significantly increased, this allows minimizing the time the process is in an unstable state.
Applying the approach of A. Duncan, which he developed for Shewhart charts, a formula for the expectation of the duration of an unstable state of a process was obtained and a Python program was developed to minimize it.
To test the set optimization problem, the calculation of the data of two process indicators is given and the optimal parameters of the generalized variance chart are obtained, at which the duration of the process in an unstable state is minimal.

On algorithm for detecting changes in the object motion mode65_6.pdf

The article deals with the solution to the problem of determining the motion mode of an object along a complex trajectory. A hybrid stochastic model is used to describe a complex trajectory. The solution of the problem is based on the application of a sequential decision rule about the choice at an unknown time of the hypothesis about the current mode of motion, with a limited size of the bank of competing Kalman filters. An algorithm is constructed for calculating the average size of the Kalman filter bank in the case of M-possible motion modes. The algorithm is developed in a general form, therefore, it can be used not only for the four types of object motion models considered in this paper, but also for any linear discrete-time models with Gaussian noise presented by equations in the state space. The algorithm for a priori estimation of the average size of a bank of competing Kalman filters for M-possible modes of motion is implemented in MATLAB, the results of computer simulation are presented.

The efficiency analysis of generalized variance algorithm under the trend of multidimensional scattering65_7.pdf

The generalized variance algorithm is used to control the multidimensional scattering of the process. The generalized variance is understood as the determinant of the covariance matrix of the process. The control efficiency is estimated by the average length of the series, that is the number of observations from the moment of violation of the process to the moment of detection of this violation. Both analytical and numerical methods can be used to estimate the average length of the series for different control types. One of the most common types of the process violation is an abrupt or gradual increase in its dispersion. The aim of the article is to estimate the average length of the series of the generalized dispersion map under the trend of multidimensional scattering.

In practice, the use of instantaneous samples for statistical control of the process is often impossible due to technical conditions or is not economically feasible. In this case, the process is monitored by individual observations. To control the average level of a multiparametric process based on the Hotelling algorithm, appropriate methods have been developed, but when controlling multidimensional scattering based on the generalized variance algorithm, a number of problems arise. Various approaches to the estimation of the generalized variance are proposed in the article, and their comparative analysis is carried out. The extraction of terms consisting of several words from texts in natural languages using the syntactic patterns65_12.pdf

Two problems arise when extracting terms consisting of several words using linguistic methods of text analysis: 1. A linguist has no skills in software systems development, however he (she) is required to present his (her) knowledge in the form of software system fragments or constructions in a formal language. 2. Most software developers are not qualified enough in linguistics. This problem creates a semantic gap between the methods of linguistic analysis of texts and their software implementation. The article presents an approach to extract the terms consisting of several words based on syntactic patterns tailored for a linguist. The proposed approach does not require additional skills and usage of various languages to describe syntactic patterns by a linguist.
The prototype of the software system was developed. The software system allows describing syntactic patterns without having knowledge of a formal language. Moreover, as against the analogs the developed system is capable to use syntactic patterns in external systems for text analysis. The server of the prototype has an interface to make the syntactic patterns.

The quality control of plated-through holes of printed circuit boards by pulsed laser heating65_13.pdf

The article gives a brief overview of standard methods of quality control and defect diagnostics of plated-through holes (PTH) of printed circuit boards (PCB) and considers their main disadvantages. It scrutinizes the methods of thermal control, which are reduced to PTH heating and monitoring the temperature. The main disadvantage of common methods is that they require a contact during heating the PTH and temperature measurement, which leads to significant errors and low reliability of control. The article describes a non-contact method involving heating only one side of the PTH by a laser beam and non-contact temperature measurement of the PTH ends by an IR camera. The authors propose a thermal equivalent scheme of PTH to analyze the transient thermal processes in PTH, which takes into account the heat removal from the plating of PTH into the PCB material. It is shown that the quality of plating can be estimated by the temperature difference between the upper (heated) and lower ends of the PTH, and the quality of adhesion between PTH plating and the PCB material can be estimated by the ratio of temperature increments. The article describes peculiarities of this method and gives the results of its testing on a real sample.

Analysis of inhomogeneous electromechanical systems based on a topological approach65_14.pdf

Stricter requirements for the efficiency and reliability of technical systems predetermine an in-depth study of electromechanical systems. The study involves taking into account the heterogeneity of their physical and vector space as operational factors that have a significant impact on the energy efficiency and reliability of the object. The proposed topological approach to the study of heterogeneous electromechanical systems (NEMS) is based on the analysis of their vector space. The multidimensionality, heterogeneity, and composite nature of the vector space are analyzed. Typical examples of the restrictions imposed on space vectors by the connection schemes of three-phase and multiphase NEMS windings are given. The main energy field is presented and the principle of the formation of the effective energy state of NEMS is formulated. In conditions of uncertainty, as well as heterogeneous quality, insufficient data, the feasibility of sharing the methods of fuzzy cognitive and logical analysis and modeling is substantiated. A cascade hybrid model is proposed, as well as methods for studying the vector space and operational diagnostics of NEMS based on it.
