This paper reports the main trends in the research and development at the Federal Research-and production Center Open Joint-stock Company "Research-and-production Association 'Mars" aimed at the improvement of control systems for the Russian Federation Navy's large units by automation of force and weapon control and informatization of authorities' functionalities. The paper addresses the contribution of the Federal Research-and-Production Center Open Joint-Stock Company 'Research-and-Production Association 'Mars' in the development and creation of computer-aided systems and complexes for control of surface ships and ship groups of the Navy and the company's close connection to the research-and-production activity of the Federal State Agency "24 Central Research Institute of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation". The role of the Lenin and State Prize laureat Valentin Ivanovich Kidalov, General Designer of C2 systems for the Navy and Director General of the Federal Research-and Production Center Open Joint-Stock Company 'Research-and-Production Association 'Mars', in theoretical reasoning and practical solutions in designing computer-aided systems for the Navy is stressed.

Some Aspects of Interaction in Structure of the Integrated C2 System 16_5.pdf

The article analyses some aspects of organization and implementation of interaction of computer-aided packages of automation objects and agents (authorities, officers) of computer-aided control systems within integrated C2 system of forces (troops) taking into account methodology of system approach and approved decisions (scheme 'must be'). The main purpose of organization and implementation of interaction of computer-aided packages of automation objects and agents of computer-aided systems is increase of control efficiency of forces (troops) including during joint operations due to reduction of time for acquisition, processing and presentation of data and quality improvement. The problem aspects (taking into account its multi-aspect nature and volume) of organization and implementation of interaction of computer-aided packages of automation objects and agents of computer-aided systems are considered and structured by categories of concepts, definitions, requirements, principles. The problem of interaction of computer-aided packages of automation objects and agents of computer-aided systems is a key problem during creation of integrated C2 system. It is complex and ambiguous at the same time, and it is solved in different ways. Therefore it is important to see comprehensive picture of the problem. It will contribute to definition of task and priority lists during process of creation and development of integrated C2 system. It will also contribute to efficient organization of works in the field of creation and replication of perspective technical solutions concerning infrastructure and implementation of information and communications technologies.

Conceptual Problems of Dataware for Situational Awareness Support Within the Navy C2 System 16_7.pdf

The article deals with problems of architecture of, make-up of and unified access to information resources of situational awareness support within the Navy C2 System. It justifies requirements for dataware for situational awareness support and its organization within the Navy C2 System. The following two-level architecture of dataware for situational awareness support within the Navy C2 System is proposed to be used: the first level is metadata on situation; the second one is information resources of situation. Instrumental and Technological Environment for Generation and Use of Design Organization Experience 16_2.pdf

In design organizations there are a lot of reasons when problems of modeling of organization experience and its operational use are put in the forefront. The experience of developers in professional subject is handed over through completed projects to developers of other projects and so on, forming what is logically called 'design organization experience'. The fact 'how the experience is presented' and 'how it is accessed', influences substantially value of design organization experience base. In order to present (model) design organization experience and use it efficiently (in current state), the authors propose question-answer tool environments to be applied in collaborative activity within corporate networks. The development of such environments within the working group 'Question-Answer Processes, Technologies and Systems' resulted in creation of a range of tool systems. It was decided to create a complex 'Experience Base of Design Organization' on basis of them. The authors took an active part in creation of a range of versions of the efficient tool and technological environment WIQA (Working in Questions and Answers). Due to this environment, a range of applications ensuring conceptual design of computer-aided systems, documentation, decision-making and training, was developed. The tool system WIQA is oriented at use of experience phenomenon and its models. During the process of QA-system creation a substantial potential of assets was accumulated (components for building, regulating documents and other units of reuse). The last version of the integrated tool environment on basis of WIQA.Net processor is programmed using Microsoft.Net 2.0 and facilities of Web-programming ASP.NET which extend corporate network due to client workstations in Internet.

Approach to Modeling of Ship Hydrodynamic Field 16_12.pdf

The present article deals with topology of hydrodynamic field of ship and proposes approaches to calculations of its parameters for both still water and waves. The resultant model allows calculating overpressure generated by ship during ship's motion for an arbitrary space point. The value of the proposed approach consists in the fact that it is based on sufficiently simple mathematical dependencies and uses available source data. The achieved accuracy is sufficient for operational and tactical calculations.

The article deals with nature of ship magnetic field, its sources, vector nature of its presentation and basic components (permanent and inductive magnetization). The article also defines field topology and presents approach to recalculation of ship magnetic field parameters in an arbitrary point of space by available data. The value of the proposed approach consists in the fact that it is based on sufficiently simple mathematical dependencies and applies available reference data. At that, achieved accuracy is sufficient for operational and tactical calculations.

The article deals with algorithms of product during multiplication of data with variable capacity. In order to present data the code 'advanced carry bit' is used. In the used code each number is presented by group field. Each group is processed independently. This fact substantially increases efficiency of operations.
