Efficient Permutation Decoding of Binary Block Redundant Codes 000_10.pdf

The article describes a method of decoding of binary block redundant codes with the use of ordered statistics, which is implemented in the framework of permutation decoding (PD). Such algorithms are most effectively used in control systems in order to protect data against errors when sending them along the channels subjected to the influence of destructive factors. On the one hand, the advantage of permutation decoding is the possibility of processing of code vectors of the computed equivalent code outside the Hamming metric, which provides a significant energy code gain (ECG). On the other hand, the process of identifying the properties of rearranged matrix linearity of the equivalent code and bringing this matrix to the systematic form in case of confirmation of the properties of linearity, is a difficult task in the attitude of computation. The complexity of the computational process becomes exponential with increasing length of code vectors. In this context, the authors propose a new method for fast matrix transformations to allow normalizing the computational process of finding the matrix of the equivalent block code of virtually any length to polynomial complexity. The authors also introduce the concept of a decoder cognitive map. The probabilistic characteristics of the proposed decoders obtained by analytical modelling of communication channels with various streams of errors are given.

The Statistical Properties and Features of Formation of Soft Decisions for Redundant Codes Nonbinary Characters 000_5.pdf

The article considers the ways of formation of soft decision symbols (sDs) used in the systems with binary modulation. Through the tests of the original statistical models, the properties of these solutions are described, the possibility of their application to problems of adaptive signal processing is shown. Taking into account the cascade scheme of codec construction, the paper considers the novel problem of estimating the reliability of non-binary symbols based on a comprehensive assessment of decoding results of internal code combinations and statistical parameters of sDs obtained for these combinations from continuous channel.

Synthesis of Adaptive Systems for Data Exhange in Integrated Information Control Complexes 000_3.pdf

The increasing requirements to elements control in integrated information control complexes lead to the necessity of using data communications protocols that are different in organization and control cycles duration. Due to this fact, it is reasonable to use the set of redundant-different noiseless codes processed on the single hardware platform in the context of real-time information security. In order to realize such a concept, it is efficient to use short block codes relevant for transmitting small data that could be transformed for big data security with the use of cascade coding technology. Shortening code sequences at specified requirements in data adequacy leads to the need of the flexible synthesis of signals data received from a continuous communications channel and soft iterative algorithms for selected redundant codes processing. Constructions on the basis of adaptive systems meet the requirements in full extent.

Object Grouping Based on Radar Observations 36_3.pdf

The article presents a review of main principles of integration (grouping) of the radar-tracking observation object marks used in those processing points where the information on each object is not required or the density of mark reception from objects appears above the calculated throughput.The article offers an algorithm for object grouping based on joint use of the heuristic approach and the quality index allowing an automatic joint processing of data about the object coordinates and speed. An important outcome is an opportunity to increase the relevant object characteristics at initial grouping. The article shows an example of performance of the proposed method for grouping objects with the set coordinates and speed values.
