The Method for Constructing a System of Compact Storage of Data Used for Analytical Processing 000_9.pdf

The article considers a method for constructing a compact storage system of data used for analytical processing. The authors describe all stages of constructing system: from analysis of task in a particular subject area to implementation. Particularly, the question of organizing data, downloading them from various sources, purification, compression, restoration, and analytical processing are discussed in this article. In order to clarify some points, the method is shown as business process diagram. The proposed method can be used in different subject areas for solving a wide range of tasks. The authors investigate the possibility of using the method for estimating the reliability of hardware-software equipment. This article is intended for specialists in data storage and analytical data processing.

Case-tool for Designing 3d Gis on the Basis of Open Source Libraries 000_5.pdf

The structure and content of the CASE-tool allowing to implement a given 3D GIS functionality are considered. In the process of using CASE-tools, variants of design solutions are generated. Structural and functional models and diagrams of interfaces interaction between open source libraries and personal developments, which do not have any analogues among libraries, are created for the development of 3D GIS. Header files generation on the selected programming language is performed in order to realize the system. The core can be set off in 3D GIS. It includes four major components providing a basic set of functions implemented in the majority of 3D GIS. The developed models such as the situation description model, the open source libraries description model, the projections model, the broker model, and the compositional model increase the efficiency of the developed 3D GIS components. The models proposed in the article are related to the three stages of the 3D GIS life cycle.

Software Maintenance and Operational Reliability Evaluation on the Basis of Network-centric Architecture 000_3.pdf

The article deals with the approach to the creation of network-centric control system of condition of products produced by the original equipment manufacturer and operated on the distant sites. The organization of interaction between the center (manufacturer) and the consumer that serves as the basis for the creation of network-centric structure is proposed. The ability of high-quality control of events on sites is shown by giving an example of remote control of failures and operating products troubles. This leads to the increasing of the product operation efficiency and gives an opportunity for developers to upgrade products faster due to the fast feedback. The structure, the architecture, the general algorithm of functioning, and the description of general mathematical model of software product maintenance and functioning reliability evaluation system are considered. The proposed solutions are implemented as a software package that was used for computing experiment and the confirmation of the discussed approach practical application.
