A Method for Creation of Virtual Equipment for Aviation Onboard Information-management System 29_5.pdf

The article describes a method for the creation of virtual equipment for aircraft onboard information-management system (the System). The virtual equipment is implemented as a client-server application in a local area network. It enables the debugging of operational software for the System without onboard computer. In this case the physical layer of the system communication channels is replaced by the TCP transport layer. The method also enables the development and debugging of the System diagnostics. This approach reduces substantially time for the System development due to multisequencing of processes of the development of the System hardware, software and diagnostics.
