A Mathematical Model and a Software Suite to Calculate Helium Release From Irradiated Boron Carbide Powder Under the Shell of Absorbing Rods in Vver 26_2.pdf

The paper suggests a mathematical model to calculate the pressure of helium released from irradiated boron carbide powder under the shell of absorbing rod in VVER. A software suite to simulate the behavior of helium in absorbing rod in a designed LOCA-type failure has been created.

Vver, absorbing rod, boron carbide, loca-type failure.
