Models and designing methods for the dynamically reconfigurable group control system for mobile robots63_14.pdf

High adaptability is an important requirement for the control system over a group of mobile robots operating in a nondeterministic changing environment. The group control system must ensure that the group task is completed when the structure of the group or the environment changes. Such adaptability can be achieved through dynamic reconfiguration of the control system. The article discusses the mathematical models of a dynamically reconfigurable system from the standpoint of computer-aided design. A review of mathematical models of variable structure system, reconfigurable control systems and their design methods is presented. The paper deals with set-theoretic, analytical, discrete-event models of variable structure systems and methodologies of designing reconfigurable systems. It is shown that the existing design methods do not fully provide the required adaptability of designed group control system. The paper compares the group control system and the reconfigurable multiprocessor computing system and shows how to increase adaptability and autonomy of designed control system using principles of reconfigurable computing systems designing.

Some issues of organization of restoration of railway infrastructure facilities62_3.pdf

The Railway Troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are intended for technical cover, restoration, demining and barrage of sections (objects) of the RF railroad transport infrastructure in the RF Armed Forces responsibility zone, increasing its survivability and carrying capacity, as well as planning the guidance and operation of floating railway bridges. The railway infrastructure is understood as "a technological complex, which includes subsystems of railway infrastructure, components of subsystems and elements of components of subsystems of railway infrastructure, ensuring the functioning of this complex" [1]. The tasks of the troops include the operation of existing and construction of new sections of railways, bypassing railway (railway) junctions, the construction of temporary railway bridges in order to ensure the actions of troops [2]. When restoring infrastructure facilities for railroad transport, the organization of work management and the promptness of restoring interrupted train traffic play a decisive role, which largely depends on the preparation and decision-making that requires certain engineering calculations. In particular, the development of design documentation for the construction of a bypass of a destroyed section of a road or a railway junction requires a significant amount of time. The most time-consuming document of design documentation is the calculation and construction of a longitudinal bypass profile. The article discusses the issues of automated construction of a longitudinal bypass profile, which can significantly reduce the time required for preparing design documentation, including for laying cable lines to restore the regulation of train traffic.

Software Package for Visual Monitoring of the Cargo Transportation 53_7.pdf

The article considers the process of designing and implementing a software package to check the completeness of trucks loading when passing checkpoints using technical vision algorithms and machine learning methods. Load completeness checking is used in the governmental supervision of the Russian roads operation as well as checking the cargo transportation volume by private companies when executing orders under the agreements for cargo transportation services. The article deals with the problem of supervising the volume of transported cargo in open-top trucks with bulk non-metallic materials (sand, gravel, coal). Currently, the problem of road-freight transport weight-checking is solved in most cases by the use of weighing units. Also, there are solutions when ultrasonic distance sensors are used that generate a signal corresponding to the shape of the vehicle when driving under several sensors. However, these solutions are quite expensive to install, they do not consider the difference between signals when various vehicle types or models are used on one route. In addition, the weight does not always reflect the completeness of the load body because some materials weigh much more than payload at low volume. And under different weather conditions (e.g. high humidity), the mass of certain goods can vary significantly within 15 percent. At the same time, the transportation efficiency is estimated based on the minimum possible number of passes for the export of cargo of the given volume. The vision systems allow to solve the problem on checking the transported bulk cargo volume. The article focuses on the development description of such a system.

Pseudocode Programmable Graphics Tools in Automated Systems Designing 39_11.pdf

The article presents the tools for the pseudocode programmable graphics designed for support of automated system engineering at a conceptual stage. The particularity of the approach offered is defined by mapping «block and line» diagrams into a semantic memory of question-answer type. The structure of memory cells and capability of control of cell attributes and values ascribe the semantics, with which programmable actions are liable to occur, to elements of diagrams. The specific diagram image can be converted to a pseudocode program description that can be modified the same way as a source programme code. In addition, the pseudocode diagram presentation can be used for its visualization in the special graphics editor field. Furthermore, mapping the diagram onto its pseudocode presentation offers the opportunity for useful conversions of diagrams that contributes to add model control mechanisms to the design process. The decisions offered have been implemented and tested in the tool-and-modeling environment WIQA (Working In Questions and Answers).

System of Means for Control of Semantics of Design Tasks and Design Solutions 21_8.pdf

The article presents a system of means ensuring the control of semantics used and materialized in design tasks thanks to operational comparison with reality whish underlines a project of computer-aided system. The control is performed in a version whish is called predicate and ontological control of design-task statement and design-solutions definition. The potential of the technique of predicate and ontological control contributes to detection of semantic errors, control of design process as well as development of project ontology and reference natural and professional language which should be used by developers of computer-aided systems. The technique of predicate and ontological control is implemented by means of software (C#, .Net 3.5, .Net Remouting) in the form of a set of facilities embedded in tool environment of modeling WIQA [1] within a system of extensions (plug-in) which serves solution of logical and linguistic tasks in design of computer-aided systems.
