Mathematical Model and Algorithm for the Identification Task of Radio- Emitting Objects of Tactical Situation on Data From Ships of Task Force The article presents a mathematical model and algorithm for tasks of radio-emitting objects identification. The identification task partition into component parts is carried out. New approaches to the calculation of the radio-emitting object identification level from geometric and signal features will be found in the article. Authors propose a priority sequence of tasks to be solved based on practice of working with special information. A new mathematical model for constructing the identification evaluation function from signal features is developed. This model is not restricted to the assumption of thelinearity of this function. Algorithms for calculating the threshold values of object identification are presented. An algorithm for the radio object identification is developed under conditions of the computing experiment performed in the MATLAB environment. Following the results of the computing experiment, the algorithm has been defined more exactly, the positive outcomes of using the model have been provided.Passive radio aids, information identification, object identification level, machine learning method.

The Model for Forming the Flight Profile of an Aircraft Using Dynamic Programming Tools The article deals with the process of forming the flight profile of an aircraft. Calculation and selection of the optimal flight profile of aircraft are some of the most common issues in the tasks related to the planning of aviation operations. The flight profile in the coordinates ‘range-altitude’ is a sequence of areas each of which corresponds to a specific program for changing altitude and speed. The construction of the flight trajectory of an aircraft is characterized by the work with a large number of nonlinearly varying dependent parameters and taking into account the restrictions imposed on flights: the permitted echelons of aviation flight altitudes, forbidden zones with unacceptable meteorological conditions, forbidden zones of action of enemy air defenses. These factors make it very difficult to model the specified process. The application of the mathematical apparatus of dynamic programming in solving this problem can allow the most efficient choice of flight modes of aircraft and optimize the process of forming the flight profile as a whole.Fighter aircrafts, flight profile, optimization algorithm, dynamic programming.

On the Efficiency of Trajectory Filtering in Fixed Coordinate System The article presents the analysis results of algorithms for estimating the motion parameters of the accompanying objects based on the application of the Kalman filter. It is shown that the application of some known algorithms is associated with the need to perform complex mathematical operations, and under certain conditions can lead to significant errors. It is established that the use of filtering in fixed coordinate system in the algorithm allows taking into account data on the direction and maneuvering of the object thereby increasing the accuracy and tracking stability. At the same time, simplicity of implementation is preserved when using the linear Kalman filter.Object tracking, trajectory parameters estimation, fixed coordinate system, kalman filter.

Architecture Optimization of Functions of Airborne Equipment Complexes on the Basis of Integral Modular Avionics The article deals with the process of designing of an airborne equipment complex based on integrated modular avionics. For a more complete disclosure of the advantages of the new architecture of the complexes, the authors propose to single out the process of designing the architecture of the product functions in the form of a tree in a separate stage. Taking into account that the design process of the complex is closely connected with the process of assessing its security at all stages, the article shows that the design of the product function architecture should be intermediate between technical analysis and safety analysis and the process of circuit design of the product. That allows to perform a primary assessment of the product fault safety level, formulate requirements for the application of methods in order to increase its reliability and fault safety at the early stages of design. Optimization of the architecture of the product functions also allows to justify the hardware requirements of the complex.Airborne equipment complex, integral modular avionics, product fault safety, optimization of functions architecture.

The Mathematical Models of Telecommunication Systems Used in Integrated Information-management Complexes The article considers the method of effective processing of error-correcting codes combinations. The method is based on the possibility of lexicographical partitioning of code words space into clusters. This process allows to realize the list decoding method of code vectors on a regular basis with the use of a single list, which refers to the cluster number zero. The authors show that the vector of any other cluster with simple transformations can be brought to a vector of the cluster zero. The article proves that the method is applicable to binary and non-binary codes.Error-correcting codes, list decoding, binary codes, non-binary codes.

Synthesis of Adaptive Systems for Data Exhange in Integrated Information Control Complexes The increasing requirements to elements control in integrated information control complexes lead to the necessity of using data communications protocols that are different in organization and control cycles duration. Due to this fact, it is reasonable to use the set of redundant-different noiseless codes processed on the single hardware platform in the context of real-time information security. In order to realize such a concept, it is efficient to use short block codes relevant for transmitting small data that could be transformed for big data security with the use of cascade coding technology. Shortening code sequences at specified requirements in data adequacy leads to the need of the flexible synthesis of signals data received from a continuous communications channel and soft iterative algorithms for selected redundant codes processing. Constructions on the basis of adaptive systems meet the requirements in full extent.Coding, adaptation, synthesis, communication channel.

Methods for Improving the Efficiency of Decameter Range Aviation Digital Radio In aviation telecommunication, decameter range is widely used for solving different tasks associated with the objective functions of aircrafts during their interaction among themselves and with ground means. Considering the features of the specified wavelength range due to the wide development of digital data exchange methods, the challenge of achieving their credibility is arised. The solution can be found only in the way of conjunctive use of data protection tools. In the paper, the author describes the application of hierarchical modulation for transmission of error correcting code combinations processed with clustering on the receiver. It allows implementing the list decoding of received code vector with the use of the only one list, and, consequently, it simplifies the decoder. The method is effective only with correct recovery of cluster number. The cluster number bits are transmitted in hierarchical modulation with the use of the point of signal constellation remoted from each other in the most greatly manner. Stabilization of Program Motions of a Single-rotor Gyrostat With a Cavity Filled With Viscous Fluid The asymptotically stable program motions problem of a single-rotor gyrostat with a spherical cavity entirely filled with viscous fluid is studied. The gyrostat is modeled by a system of two connected solid bodies with common axis of rotation. The first body is a carrier that has a cavity filled with highly viscous fluid. The second body is a dynamically symmetric rotor. In the paper, the gyrostat motion equations are constructed in the Lagrange equations form of the second kind. In the equations, the influence of fluid on the motion of the gyrostat is described using the kinematic characteristics of the gyrostat. The program motions realization problem is solved by the active program and stabilizing controls attached to the gyrostat. Building and Researching Dynamic Models of Information Processes in Complex Systems The author researches the following schemes of processing information in complex systems: a sequent one with a different number of objects, a two- or three-level hierarchical scheme used in transferring information resources from the lowest levels to the highest ones, and a two- or three-level hierarchical scheme used in transferring information resources from the highest levels to the lowest ones. For all the schemes considered, the mathematical models in the form of linear differential equations with constant coefficients were built under simple but realistic assumptions as follows: the size of information resources does not change in case of processing; the speed of processing information on objects has a linear dependence on the size of information resources; the range of equation constant coefficients chosen allows to get the analytical solution. The author obtains analytical solutions of the system of differential equations showing the relationship between the size of information resources and the time on every object of the information processing schemes considered. The fundamental possibility of analytical solutions for any number of objects in a sequent scheme and any number of levels in a hierarchical system was shown.Dynamic models, information processing, complex systems, differential equations.

The Method of Validating the Structural Parametric Conformity of the Experimental Area to the Functional Communication System The article considers decision making issues aimed at modernizing functional communication systems on the basis of advanced technologies. Conclusion can be drawn on the basis of the analysis. The attention is drawn to the conclusion consisting the fact that the most promising direction in this sphere is using experimental areas for validating system engineering solution in case of constructing and modernizing communication systems. However, experimental areas should have a similarity measure to the original (a functional communication network). Using a graph model of a communication system and the method of graph sparsification allowing to obtain samples(less dimensionality graphs) that are isomorphic with respect to the initial graph would be appropriate. The article reviews the algorithm of forming a graph model of an experimental area with the use of sparsification. It is shown that in the result of the initial graph sparsification, a sharpen sequence of samples (subgraphs) demonstrating the structure of a functional communication system on the corresponding stage of the modernization (also in the experimental area) was obtained. The authors consider the structure of the sequence samples for the specified number of modernization stages of the functional communication system got through the initial graph sparsification. The statement of the problem of forming the experimental area in the basis of structural parametric construction of the functional communication system is given. The analytical apparatus and the algorithm are demonstrated. The solutions of the application field extension for structuring the communication system for its sequent modernizing stage. The analytical correspondence between the target function and conditions of the task solution is demonstrated. As the result, the method of sequent transformation of the functional system structure into the experimental area with providing its structural parametric similarity to the original in the form of a set of corresponding procedures is presented. The original refers to the isomorphic communication system, which elements, functions, properties, and relations that are of importance to the system can be put into one-to-one correspondence.Automated control systems, special-purpose communication networks, network graph, graph model, experimental area, sparsification, samples, isomorphism.

Reliability of Integrated Modular Avionics Reconfigurable Complexes This paper briefly outlines the problems of calculations reliability for multiprocessor systems. The authors show disadvantages of the statistical calculations method for reconfigurable onboard equipment complexes. The preliminary system safety assessment procedure for the system developed is described. The helicopter onboard equipment complex, which is capable to function in cruise flight mode and in modes of landing and takeoff, was considered as an example. Respective hardware and functional graph was built. The graph takes into account functions criticality, data streams between them, and specific hardware features. Operating modes of the complex are also described. Evaluation of developed reconfiguration algorithms effectiveness was implemented with the use of Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) for the traditional federative architecture with double reservation and for the integrated modular avionics architecture that consists of a crate with the reserved commutation module. Respective fault trees were built and the numerical results of reliability evaluation were presented. In order to improve algorithms for performing better reliability, some recommendations are given. The authors also show the impossibility of implementing the reconfigurable architecture on the basis of the existing complexes with the dynamically reconstructive architecture. The architecture doesn't meet the requirements of complexes reliability and doesn’t comply with modern standards for airborne equipment development.Multiprocessor computing system, reconfiguration, reliability, fault tree.

Building Maneuvering Targets Trajectories on the Basis of Splines and Kalman Filters The algorithms of tracking radar targets on the basis of Kalman filtering and smoothing splines allowing to estimate target motion parameters in the absence of accurate information about the dynamic model are considered. The comparative analysis of algorithms effectiveness for different types of trajectories was carried out. It’s well established that in case of intensive maneuvering and quite accurate initial measurements, the algorithms on the basis of splines (approximation of the curve with the use of spline functions) are subjects to a little uncertainty, simple to software implementation, moreover, they do not require a lot of computational resources. Simultaneously, preference should be given to Kalman methods (recursive functions estimating the state of the dynamic system) for smoothly varying trajectories with known statistical parameters. Under conditions of uncertainty relative to dynamic parameters of the target, many-model multiversion procedures for trajectory construction are proposed. Experimental results were obtained on the basis of the radar situation simulation. The results allow to confirm working ability and the efficiency of algorithms and software developed.Radar, detection, distinction, estimation, filtering, spline, simulation.

Hierarchical Interaction Between the Two Coalitions in View of the Uncertain Factor on the Top Level Complex systems usually have multilevel hierarchical structures characterized by the disparity of participants in the control process and exposed to different perturbations and other uncertain factors. In order to solve the problem of describing the operation of complex dynamic systems and decision-making under uncertainty, the methods of operations research including the game theory ones are used. A model of hierarchical interaction between two coalitions with program strategies under uncertainty with varying degrees of awareness is constructed in the paper. It is assumed that the low level players of the hierarchy know the implemented value of uncertainties, and this information is not available on the top level. The solution using the guaranteed result principle is defined. The original maximin problem to the related set is transformed to the problem on maximum of functional with penalty. The existence theorem for solution is proved, an estimate of the error and necessary conditions of optimality are obtained.Hierarchical game, coalition, uncertainty, penalty function technique.

Presentation and Processing of Information Resources in Automated System Control Functions. the User Interface Level Formalization The article is the third in a series dedicated to the presentation and processing of information resources (IR) in automated system control functions (ASCF), realized in the form of the three-tier-structure. In the first article, formalized and unformalized components of control functions were brought out and the unification problem of program modules providing access to IR were set up. In the second article, devoted to application level unification (or, strictly speaking, one of its component called database application (DBA)), authors propose to replace DBA set by the one unified. The solution of the problem is described on the user interface (UI) level realizing visualization of logic data used on the application level. As this takes place, it is suggested to guide by the problem statement formulated in the first article in a series with the use of approaches realized in the second one. In accordance with the statement, the UI level formalization is based on the declarative representation of both control elements (CE) realizing the IR structure element visualization and the UI generation algorithm. For reasons of the UI level unification, authors propose to store the representation in metadatabase fix structures as it has been realized in the process of the application level formalization.Control function, application level, user interface level, meta-database, user interface unification, set of visualization parameters, program code template, program code synthesis.

Methods of Reducing Intranetwork Load in Distributed Storage Data Systems The constant growth in the volumes of generated and processed information and the transition from classical ways of representing and processing data to the concept of Big data is linked with the need for long-term storage of large and very large volumes of information. In modern distributed data storage systems it is a widely accepted approach for data replication, which has a number of advantages. However, the use of this approach requires a large number of repositories, the total memory of which must be proportionally greater than amounts of data stored. This paper examines alternative approaches to data warehousing based on the use of error-correcting codes that allow reducing the costs of the equipment while maintaining a comparable level of reliability. The article discusses the concept of constructing locally decodable codes that allow reconstructing of system individual nodes, involving a limited number of remaining nodes which reduces the load on the data network. It is also presented the apparatus of regenerative codes, which allow to reduce the load on the network, so that the redundancy of system is approaching MDS-codes.Distributed storage data system, regenerative coding, locally decoded codes.

Pseudophysical Approach to Allignment and Recognition of Group Point Objects The paper examines group point objects (GPO), i.e. two- or three-dimensional binary images composed of points, e.g. constellations, the specific body points, marks on the surface of the Earth or sea. The problem of alignment and recognition of such objects arises in navigation, robotics, diagnostics using medical images, etc. In this article, in order to align and recognize GPO, the authors propose to represent them as systems of material points. The author proposes to represent the group point objects as a system of material poits for alining and recognizing these objects. In this view, it is also possible to approximate GPO using such mechanical properties as gravity centers and inertia moments. The accuracy of GPO overlapping depends on how close their forms are. It helps to recognize the objects as recognized GPO refers to the closest model.Group point object, binary image, alignment, recognition, gravitation, gravity center, inertia moment.
