Differential Models of Information Processing in Hierarhical Computer-aided Control System Authorities 000_2.pdf

The analysis of information processing in hierarchical computer-aided control system authorities is the foundation on which the differential reporting situation and planning models have been constructed. The model of situation report represents heterogeneous differential equation of degree one with constant coefficients and describes the speed of creating output information resources by processing input data originating from subordinate bodies. The equation is solved by applying the method of indefinite coefficients. The analytical results for one, two, and three information sources have been obtained. The planning model represents inhomogeneous combined differential equations with constant coefficients. The combined equations describe the speed of creating routine documents by authorities for subordinate bodies. The solution can be found by applying the method of variation of fundamental system constants. The analytical results for two subordinate bodies have been obtained. The results of calculating output data amount in situation report depending on time and the amount of input data from two or three subordinate bodies were given. The parameters of the differential equation solution for four subordinate bodies have been calculated.

Presentation and Processing of Information Resources in Automated System Control Functions. the Application Level Formalization 000_2.pdf

This article is the second in a series dedicated to the presentation and processing of information resources (IR) in automated system control functions (ASCF). In the first article, ASCF were described as ones which consist of three levels: graphic user interface (GUI), applications and data. In the detailed three-tier architecture, automated system data level is implemented as a database management system (DBMS) and in accordance with its requirements subject domain information saves in forms that are different from habitual users’ views. In order to raise the presentation level of data that meets more clearly the users’ views about subject domain information, so-called database applications are developed. The applications are intended for creating the phrases on data entered by the user for queries that perform DBMS access operations. The article deals with the problem of database application program code formalization in order to unify IR data access procedures. The author offers to follow the statement formulated in the first article in a series. Database application formalization according to this statement is based on presentation of control functions functioning algorithms and IR structural features in meta-database structures as it had been done in data level formalization.

Representation and Processing of Information Resources in Automated System Control Functions 37_1.pdf

The article examines issues of representation and processing of information resources of an automated system and issues of formalization of up-to-date automated system control function components. This formalization is intended to eliminate replication of almost identical software modules that ensure data access through its unification. The issue under study is rather big, and its solution is offered to be discussed in a series of articles. In this article, first of the series, we performed common analysis and formal description of control function components at three levels: data, application and user interface processing. While analyzing, we find out formalized and nonformalized control function components, and we formulate a statement to solve the problem of unification of software modules ensuring access to information resource data. The following articles of this series will have data and application formalization implemented at all control function levels. Based on this formalization, we will develop a concept data model ensuring high-level information resource representation in terms of the field area. The procedure component of this model will ensure unification of processes to generate call expressions to perform information resource data access.
