Using Industrial Technologies for the Purpose of Designinig Automated Communications Control Systems 000_4.pdf

The article considers the use of industrial technologies in the process of designing modern hardware-software complexes of automated control systems (ACS) in the context of creating Integrated Information Space of the Russian Federation as network-oriented united information space built on the basis of robust combined high-performance network. The article also covers the basic information about designing special-purpose infocommunication systems and problems that have to be treated through the use of ACS. The authors attempted the analysis of the existing control system disadvantages and made the conclusion about the necessity of solving the unification problem of multi-purpose domestic ACS based on proprietary principles of organization. The article presents the certain features of unified platform solutions (UPS). UPS are defined as fundamentals for the development of infocommunication systems on the basis of unified technical platform development practical experience in the process of special-purpose ACS creation with the use of the products unification principle. The principle consists in the optimization of possible particular (individual) solutions variety in the context of general properties and characteristics leading the product and its execution to the integrated system of standard constructions. The methodology of determining the minimum number of resources in UPS of a varying configuration is given. It is shown that with the use of this methodology a set of solutions with varying configuration can be generated. The set forms the basis for a unified platform of special-purpose equipment series.
