Developing Algoritm of Interaction Between the System for Cargo Condition Monitoring and the System of Cargo Hold Drainage for Prevention of Cargo Liquefying 000_6.pdf

One of the reasons of fleet averages is the inadequate or even missing control system for cargo and gas air environment monitoring in cargo spaces of different-classes ships during the voyage. The main factors to ensure the safety of goods during carriage by sea are heat and humidity transportation regime and ventilation one. The algorithm of interaction between the system for cargo condition monitoring and the system of cargo hold drainage for prevention of cargo liquefying is considered in the article. The variants of systems interfacing are also analyzed. The developed algorithm of integration and analyzed variants of interfacing of these systems allow constructing the control and monitoring system of cargo state in the hold of bulk dry-cargo ship. The exploit of the integrated system should improve the control of cargo condition by the crew and give the opportunity to control and maintain necessary dry and humidity characteristics of hold air and gas environment. It should enhance safety carriage of bulk cargo on dry-cargo ships.
